Syrian Refugees in the US – Informational Meeting

On Jan. 31, 2016, ASACA hosted an informational meeting to discuss the status of the Syrian Refugees admitted to the US, and specifically in Southeast Michigan. 8 National and local organizations working on the ground to help the refugees participated. The panel presented important data and information about the Refugee Resettlement program, and discussed in details the Syrian refugees status since 2013. They answered questions, separated facts from misconceptions and provided interested volunteers with direct tools to help. Over 120 people attended. Here is the 7-part video and some event photos. Thank you for watching, sharing and supporting this important humanitarian cause.
