Syria Disastrous Earthquake donation Campaign

ASACA is appealing to your generosity and spirit of compassion. Please help us organize the effort of supporting our Syrian fellows that were victims of the earthquake that hit multiple Syrian cities and Syrians in refugee camps in Turkey. You can choose where you prefer your donation to go to since we identified 3 organizations that are helping first hand on the ground:

  • Saint Rita Foundation For Children, an American Non-Profit Organization
  • MedGlobal, a American Non-Profit Organization
  • UNHCR, United Nation High Commissioner for Refugees

Thank you for your support.

Ease the sanctions on earthquake stricken Syria!

We, the undersigned, are appealing with the US government for the immediate ease of the sanctions imposed on the Syrian people, and to allow for aid to get into the country and help the victims of the recent earthquake. Many individuals and organizations with close ties to Syria cannot send help due to the sanctions. We are asking to allow such entities to send help directly to the affected areas in Syria. We are also asking the government to allow American citizens, American licensed non-profit organizations, and any other US donors to send money and aid directly to the affected areas and people in Syria without risking prosecution. This plea to lift some of the imposed sanctions excludes the individuals and entities named by the government in these sanctions.

ASACA Humanitarian Emergency Appeal

The devastating economic situation paired with the Coronavirus spread
is threatening the lives of our fellow Syrians back home. Please help
us alleviate their suffering by supporting this humanitarian appeal
and donating to the organization of your choice.

1- Provided By People: A Canadian based nonprofit organization
established by Syrian expats from around the globe. It is working on
the Syrian grounds with the help of مؤسسة بصمة شباب سوريا and has
been providing PPE, food baskets and money to the most affected. Its
current focus is to help alleviate the effect of COVID-19 by providing
Oxylator EMX (resuscitation oxygen machine) to hospitals in Syria.

2- Saint Rita Foundation for Children: A nonprofit based in Colorado,
USA. The organization works with SOS Syria to support Syrian children.
Currently it has purchased 200 Oxygen Concentrators (machine producing oxygen-enriched gas stream) and is asking generous donors to help cover the cost.

Click on each organization’s name to learn more about its work.

Your donations made to ASACA are tax deductible. ASACA will send the total amount raised to each organization as marked by your preference.

Please donate generously, the need is great.

ASACA Programs

ASACA hosted a Community Teach-in

ASACA hosted a Community Teach-in on Feb 11, 2017 to discuss the ramifications of the Presidential Executive Order PROTECTING THE NATION FROM FOREIGN TERRORIST ENTRY INTO THE UNITED STATES issued on January 27. The order put a 120 days freeze on the refugee admission program, banned the Syrian refugees from entering the US, and enforced a 90 days freeze on entry/visas issuing for people from 7 countries including Syria. Watch the event’s 4-part video to learn more.

Syrian Refugees Informational Meeting Video

Syrian Refugees in the US, an informational meeting 1/31/16. Attendees learned about the refugee admission process and the Syrian refugees status in the US and locally from a panel of 8 national and local organizations helping the refugees. A Syrian refugee testimony followed in addition to a Q&A session and organizations’ booths. Watch the 7-part presentation video here.

ASACA Cars for Syrian Refugees program
